IGOR ČOKO was born in Knin in 1975. He graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade with a degree in Ethnology and Anthropology. He works as a documentary photographer, capturing from the viewpoint of visual anthropology the life, street aesthetics and the problems of marginalized peoples. He has authored four books of photography and held over forty exhibitions and lectures at home and abroad. His books of photography are part of the collection of the Hasselblad Foundation’s library in Goteborg. Since 1995 he has worked and lived in Belgrade.
