STREETS OF BELGRADE

Since 2013. I roam the streets of Belgrade, documenting its life, aesthetics, cultural and social daily changes. I’m a visual anthropologist and that knowledge I wear on the streets helps me a lot to understand what’s really happening outside. Belgrade is a New York of the Balkans, 24 hours live, chaotic and vivid. And street photography is like jazz or rock n roll. You need to follow the rhythm, dance with the city streets and improvise, catching the moments. You need to be a street walking cheetah with a heart full of napalm, like Iggy Pop said. Be always prepared for the unexpected, and ready to click. That’s the beauty of street photography. Here are some details from my street work done during the last decade.  Thanks!
